Norwalk Hospital has been providing quality, compassionate care for more than 115 years and has touched the lives of countless individuals and families along the way. In an effort to “give back” and ensure the level of medical and emotional care and support continues, The Circle of Caring program was created by a grateful patient, Amy Schafrann.
The Norwalk Hospital Circle of Caring is designed to encourage former patients and their families to become more involved with the hospital and express their gratitude for the exceptional care they -- or a loved one -- received. Your financial support helps the hospital attract and retain outstanding medical staff and keep pace with the rapid advances in medical technology while providing compassionate, patient-centered care that all patients expect and deserve.
Donations from Circle of Caring families have been used to support programs and projects throughout Norwalk Hospital. Some of our patients and their families want to contribute to a specific department or area of the hospital where they were treated while others prefer gifts to be directed to the area of greatest need.
